Gearing Towards Zero Harm – Unite for Safe Care!

We are celebrating the Global Patient Safety Day by having a whole week affair to kick start our program “Gearing towards Zero Harm”, engaging the hospital staff towards patient safety, educating the patients and family on safe care, recognition of members of the Patient Quality of Care Task force which will implement the PSM APSS. There will booth and Safety talks and games and contests to engage, encourage, learn, and be advocates of patient safety!

Opening Ceremony (14 September at 10 AM)

Zero Harm Commitment Board

Patient Safety Photo Contest (Individual Contest)
Patient Experience Writing Contest (Individual Contest)
Patient Safety Group Photo and Tagline Contest (Group Contest): QMD Staff will visit each department to take their photos with their chosen patient safety tagline

Virtual Safety Talk (14, 17 and 18 September 2020)

3 Days Virtual Safety Talk: 5 Speakers were chosen and these are the topics that they will discuss:
Medication Safety, The 7 Rights: Ms. Vu Thi Lan Huong, Head Nurse Paediatric Ward
Patient and Family Engagement: Dr. Basma MBarek, Head of Oncology Department
Post-Operative Delirium in Older Adults: Dr. Henri Maries, Deputy Director, Anesthesiologist
Project Zero Harm: Dr. Juan Lucas, Quality Management Director
