We will be kicking off the World Patient Safety Day walk in Irvine, CA where the Patient Safety Movement Foundation’s headquarters is located on September 10th and then passing the baton on to PSMF CEO, Dr. David Mayer, as he hosts a walk from Gettysburg, PA to Washington, DC.
The Patient Safety Movement Foundation is a global non-profit with the vision of eliminating preventable patient harm and death across the globe by 2030. The PSMF is hosting 2nd annual #uniteforsafecare campaign which aims to bring awareness to patient safety, medical error and unsafe care and educate the general public and health workers about their role in improving patient safety.
This is a private event as we have a limit of 50 people in each location currently due to the pandemic. As a leading patient safety-related organization and the delta variant we want to keep everyone safe and therefore must cap the number of people who walk with us out of an abundance of caution.
