Dr. Adrienne Bridges is a Board-Certified Geriatric Pharmacist with 16 years of professional experience including roles in long-term care, clinical support, operations, and community pharmacy practice. She is a Texas native who holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Texas Southern University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She also has a Master of Management in Health Care from Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Management.
The death of an elderly loved-one due to a medication error during a transition in care inspired Dr. Bridges to advocate for systematic changes that improve the safety and quality of care for patients throughout the care continuum. Dr. Bridges is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health from George Washington University, with a special interest in health policy. She joined the Patient Safety Movement Foundation as a 2021 Program Intern. Her personal experiences and professional expertise both drive her dedication to advocate for patient safety.
