Armaan Meshkati

Quality and Patient Safety Strategist, Patient Safety Movement Foundation

As PSMF’s Quality and Patient Safety Strategist, Armaan Meshkati develops plans to achieve a streamlined commitment model and process map for the actionable evidence-based practices (AEBP). Armaan collaborates with key stakeholders to ensure that AEBP blueprints are peer-reviewed and practical to enhance the outcome of care and improve safety at hospitals. He is also in charge of managing the fellowship program.  

Previously, as the Associate Research Specialist in the Hematology/Oncology Laboratory at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), Armaan worked with key stakeholders to discover and address data discrepancies within multiple databases. He developed a process map to eliminate potential data mishandling and input errors. Prior to CHLA, he worked at Keck Medicine of USC in the Value Improvement office, facilitating the tiered huddle escalations and the joint commission survey readiness. 

Armaan graduated from USC with a degree in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention. While at USC, Armaan volunteered in research projects relating to diabetes. Armaan hikes around the San Bernardino mountain ranges frequently and loves to golf in his free time.
