Ebikapaye Okoyen is a medical doctor and healthcare management consultant and one of the Patient Safety Movement Foundation’s 2022 Fellows.
Okoyen is the Deputy Director and State Program Manager for the Saving One Million Lives Programme for Results in the city of Yenagoa, a World Bank-funded initiative aimed at increasing the utilization and quality of high-impact reproductive, child health, and nutrition interventions in Nigeria.
Having undertaken various roles in the Bayelsa State Ministry of Health, he is a member of the Nigerian Medical Association, the Society for Quality in Healthcare in Nigeria, and a certified Health Facility Surveyor. Okoyen has also published various academic papers on healthcare systems.
