Kim has worked as a Registered Respiratory Therapist for over 40 years in adult, pediatric and newborn intensive care and as a certified Health Care Senior Compliance Consultant for twelve years. She has served in numerous Board positions for the Utah Society for Respiratory Care, including President. She has authored/co-authored over fifty abstract publications and was awarded the 2014 Charles W. Serby COPD Fellowship by the American Respiratory Care Foundation. Kim was awarded the Specialty Practitioner of the Year award by the American Association for Respiratory Care in 2018. She is currently serving on the Utah Division of Professional Licensing board, American Association for Respiratory Care’s Board of Directors and as the Chair of the organization’s Management Section.
