Mark is a Golden Globe and Emmy nominated Filmmaker, Playwright, and Actor.
This past year Mark produced and appeared in Chris Evans’s directorial debut, BEFORE WE GO (The Weinstein Company) as well as co-starring with Sophie Turner and producing the independent feature ALONE, written and directed by Mathew Coppola. Previously, Mark starred opposite Chris Evans in the film PUNCTURE (Millennium Entertainment), which he also Produced and Co-Directed. Other appearances in numerous films and television shows include NBC’s The Secret and Growing up Brady, CBS’s Cybil, NBC’s Third Watch, THE GOOD STUDENT, WHY NOT, and Trigger Happy for IFC productions.
In addition, Mark’s stage play credits include the Tony Award-winning Broadway production of The Last Night of Ballyhoo, directed by Ron Logormosito and the Off-Broadway production of Things You Shouldn’t Say Past Midnight, directed by John Rando. Mark also wrote and starred in the multi-media, theatrical play Perfect (at the TIFFANY Theatre in Los Angeles) as well as writing and starring in the critically acclaimed off-Broadway, multi–media play Little Willy, directed by John Gould Rubin, at OHIO THEATRE.
As a Producer, Writer and Director Mark’s television credits include the Minor Accomplishments of Jackie Woodman for IFC, Hopeless Pictures, the documentary No Joking for the Sundance Channel and the pilot Slogan for Fox Television Studios.
For film, producing credits include Trigger Happy for IFC Productions; Looking for Kitty, directed by Ed Burns, The Sasquatch Dumpling Gang, and Bernard and Doris for HBO Films (starring Susan Sarandon, Ralph Fiennes, and directed by Bob Balaban). For the latter Mark was nominated for a Golden Globe, Emmy and Producer of the Year Award by the Producers Guild America.
