Megan Quintana
Partnerships Intern
Megan recently graduated from the University of California, Irvine in June 2018 with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Public Health Science.
During her time on campus, Megan helped co-found and held a Public Relations position for a student-run organization called Wellness Champions, where she dedicated her time to promote health and wellness among staff and faculty at UCI by creating quarterly campaigns and interactive programs. The concentration of the campaigns and programs varied every quarter from physical to mental health.
Megan has also interned with several organizations including the Veterans Affairs Medical Center and the Child Development Center. Through her various internships, Megan discovered her passion for public health and her love for creating deeper connections within her community. Megan discovered the Patient Safety Movement Foundation when looking for new opportunities within nonprofit organizations, and was inspired by their mission to reduce the number of preventable deaths each year.
Looking forward, Megan aims to build her career within the healthcare field by creating novel and innovative policies and programs to further benefit community health.
Megan is excited to join the Patient Safety Movement Foundation’s collaborative and supportive team!
