Nicholas Stark, MD, MBA, is a rising PGY-4 & Chief Resident in Emergency Medicine at the University of California San Francisco. He is passionate about merging his clinical and business interests to improve the quality, safety, and accessibility of healthcare. Nicholas helps lead UCSF’s Acute Care Innovation Center, where he builds point-of-care digital tools to help clinicians provide safer care. He currently leads several department-based and hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives and is creating a national Emergency Medicine QI Database through his work with the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP).
