Samar Hassan is a registered pharmacist and certified healthcare quality professional and one of the Patient Safety Movement Foundation’s 2022 Fellows.
Since 2018, Hassan has worked with the Health Care Accreditation Council in Jordan to improve quality and patient safety across the region, a role that has seen her involved in the design, implementation, and evaluation of medical standards across health and social care institutions. She has also worked to support the Council’s advocacy and public awareness programs to educate medical professionals, healthcare leaders, and the general public on the importance of adopting and implementing novel and innovative methods of improving quality in healthcare.
