Sana Datar

Health Policy Intern for the Patient Safety Movement Foundation

Sana recently joined the Patient Safety Movement Foundation as a Health Policy Intern. She is an Orange County local who graduated with a B.S. in Health Sciences and a minor in Political Science from Chapman University. She is currently in her second year of pursuing a Master’s in Public Health from George Washington University. Sana is passionate about community engagement and hopes to use her experience in both the healthcare and education fields to improve patient safety through advocacy and policy. She believes the Patient Safety Movement Foundation’s goal of zero preventable patient deaths is something everyone who cares about patients can get behind. Sana hopes to apply her knowledge and influence to inspire patient advocates and legislators to take action and promote policy that eliminates preventable patient deaths in hospitals. She is excited and thankful to be working with such an enthusiastic team and a mission-driven organization.
