Tamara Kenworthy is the Donor Engagement Manager for the Patient Safety Movement Foundation. With more than 15 years of fundraising experience, Kenworthy works to create strategic and effective fundraising plans for the Foundation, a process which involves large scale fundraising event management, identifying novel donor prospects as well developing and maintaining relationships with the Foundation’s core donor base of individuals, corporations, and institutions.
Kenworthy has previously worked for a range of non-profits, serving as Executive Director of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), the American Diabetes Association and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. During her time at the JDRF, she was responsible for raising awareness so that the charity was the first ever selected to benefit from the Kraft Nabisco LPGA Celebrity Pro-Am Golf Tournament.
A champion for the underdog, and strong advocate for better, safer, and transparent medical care for all, she has a passion for helping patients, and is committed to raising funds and help the Foundation achieve its goal of ending all preventable medical harm.
