You can help to build a safer healthcare system
No matter what industry or type of healthcare-related organization you work for you play an essential role in helping to prioritize patient safety. We invite all stakeholders to be part of our Movement to help rebuild our broken healthcare system and put patients in the center.
As an Ambassador of the Patient Safety Movement Foundation, I have expanded my network with access to resources and support towards raising awareness on the importance of patient safety. After attending the 2017 Patient Safety Summit, I returned to Lagos, Nigeria with a better understanding of the urgent need to take action in preventing medical errors and have encouraged local hospitals to implement the APSS Blueprints as evidence-based guidelines for safer care. The PSMF has also allowed me to connect with ambassadors in other countries and has been an extremely rewarding experience to advocate for patient safety around the globe.

ISQua joined up with PSMF to further the cause of patient safety worldwide. ISQua has a global reach in over 80 countries. We want to ensure our members have access to the latest thinking on Patient Safety. We believe there are synergies between our organisations and that by working together we can make a real difference. Our approach is to provide Knowledge, develop Networks, and to give people a Voice. I believe that working with PSMF fulfills all three of these aims. For example, APPs provide knowledge, and our work together on World Patient Safety Day developed Network and gives people a Voice to share their experiences and to develop solutions that can be spread worldwide. It has been a fruitful and rewarding partnership.
