Jerika T. Lam, PharmD. APh, AAHIVP, FCSHP

Associate Professor, Chapman University School of Pharmacy

Dr. Lam received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University California of Los Angeles (UCLA) and her Pharm.D. degree from the University of Southern California (USC) School of Pharmacy. She completed her residency at San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center and a 2-year research fellowship at USC. She is an Associate Professor at Chapman University School of Pharmacy and practices in an Infectious Diseases clinic with the AltaMed Medical Group in Anaheim, CA. She is an Advanced Practice Pharmacist and credentialed by the American Academy of HIV Medicine. Dr. Lam is a member of the ASHP Faculty Advisory Panel, ASHP Council on Therapeutics, and the AAHIVM Exam Writers’ Panel. She also serves as an advisory board member of the Patient Safety Movement Foundation and the P4 UCLA HIV Prevention Collaborative Workgroup. She has given presentations on several topics including HIV, HCV, patient safety, and pharmacogenomics. She has authored several book chapters and journal articles on these topics. She is also the senior editor and author of a textbook called Pharmacogenomics: A Primer for Clinicians. She serves as the content matter expert for the ACCP/ASHP Infectious Diseases Board Certification Pharmacy Review and Recertification Program. Dr. Lam has received many intramural and external grant funding for translational and educational research.
