Natalia Camargo is a registered nurse and healthcare quality management specialist and one of the Patient Safety Movement Foundation’s 2023 Fellows. With nine years’ experience working in many different areas of the hospital environment, ranging from the operating room to ambulatory care to epidemiological surveillance, her goal is to expand the focus on patient safety and patient-centered care.
Having recently been responsible for Patient Safety Center of São Paulo’s Public Healthcare Unit, Camargo is looking to engage a multidisciplinary team to work together in reinforcing a culture of patient safety while finding ways to manage the challenges of limited budgets and a lack of process standardization.
