Mr. Young Graduated with his Master’s in Science Nurse Anesthesia from Texas Wesleyan University in 2001 and immediately began his practice providing anesthesia services to several facilities in Louisiana. In 2003, Mr. Young founded YPS Anesthesia, an anesthesia management and consulting company. Mr. Young also received a Master’s in Business Administration-Healthcare from the George Washington University in 2008 and served as the CEO of YPS Anesthesia from 2003-2023. YPS Anesthesia and EmergencHealth merged in 2022 and Mr. Young is now the Chief Operating Officer of the newly created combined entity Essential Anesthesia Services.
His primary focus is the operations and growth Essential Anesthesia and its subsidiaries which includes exclusive anesthesia contracts at over 130 facilities in 6 states and over 1,300 anesthesia providers. Mr. Young also sits on several for-profit and non-profit boards including being the current Region 7 Director for the AANA and speaks nationally on many anesthesia business, regulatory and compliance topics.
