Dr. Elizabeth Papaila is a highly accomplished general surgeon with over 10 years of clinical experience and a dedicated leader within Baylor Scott & White Health. She holds an undergraduate degree in economics and finance and initially planned to pursue a career in public policy research before the siren song of medicine captured her heart. This unique background informs her holistic approach to patient care and healthcare systems.
In her current role as Vice President of Surgical Services, Dr. Papaila oversees system-wide surgical care delivery, operational efficiency, and clinical quality, championing change management and technological integration.
Dr. Papaila is also a dedicated mentor and advocate for the next generation of medical professionals.
